Cledus T. Judd is no stranger to the radio waves. Judd built his career by parodying popular country songs, with goofy titles like "How Do You Milk a Cow?" a take off of Toby Keith’s “How Do You Like Me Now” and "It's a Great Day to Be a Guy." (Travis Tritt - It’s a Great Day to Be Alive). Cledus is more than your average celebrity. He is an artist, comedian, and radio personality as well as a hillbilly hairdresser and a humble man with a big heart and a genuine love for Georgia.

“Around 1983 I spent the end of high school figuring out how to get out of this town and I have spent the last 20 years trying to get back. With the help of 94.9 The Bull and Clay Hunnicutt, I finally have one of the biggest opportunities of my career. This is the dream gig for me, having been away from home since 1991 pursuing and accomplishing a dream…to come back to my hometown where I was born, raised, and will be buried, to tell my stories to everyone who grew up with me and watched a hillbilly’s career blossoming out of control.”

"Radio is something I want to do the rest of my career", he says. "I’ve been wanting to stop touring and come off the road so my daughter can see all this. I want her to see the hard work her dad does and the creativity behind it." Cledus is the proudest dad thanks to his daughter Caitlyn, now 3 years old.

“Coming home allows me to be a better son to my mother, a better father to my daughter, and a better friend to my friends. This morning show will be based on family, friends, and Atlanta. The Clete Suite studio is always open to the public, so drop by and say 'HI'. But if you are coming, bring something healthy to eat, and always remember I’m coming armed with an accent”.
Kristen Gates
I’m the newest addition to the Cledus T. Party! I was raised in Kennesaw. Graduated from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw…attended Berry College in Rome…bought my first house in Cartersville…and ended up back in Cobb County where I live now with my husband Steve and our two boys, Connor (2000) and Cooper (2004).

Even though I spent the first ten years of my life living in Florida, California and Colorado – Georgia is HOME! I think I’m sort of lucky to have been able to grow up in a small town just miles outside of a big city. I got to go away to college. Berry was an hour away from home – far enough to live on my own…but close enough to come home when I got homesick (and do my laundry)! I love raising my boys in the same town where I grew up. And I’ve had the chance to reconnect with so many people I went to school with. Life is good!

Here are some things about me that might strike a chord…
  • I’m a reality show fanatic. I watch as many as I can! (I need to get a life!)
  • I hate veggies and fruit. I’ll do apples and Caesar salad…but that’s about it!
  • My husband played football at UGA – but no…I don’t have season tickets!
  • My best friend since the sixth grade is my next door neighbor…love it!
FAVORITES: Hanging out with my boys (watching them play sports, reading, putting together Lego’s, family movie nights, I could go on forever)…Sitting down with my hubby and chatting about our days…Girls night out… BUNCO … things that smell good…Urban Cowboy (it’s the greatest movie ever made)… volunteer work – AND GOOD COUNTRY MUSIC!

I look forward to hearing from you soon! Shoot me an email if I can help ya with anything or if you have a question! kristengates@clearchannel.com
Slam Duncan
Six words best describe how Slam Duncan feels to be a part of the Cledus T Party on The Bull: “It’s great to be back HOME!”

Slam was raised by his grandparents, Homer & Lois, on Moores Mill Road here in Atlanta, and was thrilled to get the call from Cledus T Judd last December inviting him to join “The Party.” “Like a lot of folks in the radio business, I’ve moved many times,” recalls Slam, “but I’ve always been proud to claim Atlanta as my hometown!”

Slam, a life-long Braves fan, also saw another dream come true this year when he was hired by the Braves this season as their new Plaza host. “I sure hope I get a chance to meet one of my childhood heroes – Hank Aaron,” says Slam, “I feel like I grew up with The Hammer!”

Slam has about 100 kids… and has never been married! In 2000, he established “Slam Duncan’s Children’s Charity” while working in Roanoke, VA (www.slamskids.org). “It’s a small, grassroots organization but we are extremely proud of our annual events and outings for the kids,” smiles Slam. Those outings include the “Summer Splash with Slam” where they charter a bus and take 40 kids to Emerald Pointe waterpark in North Carolina; and “Angels Helping Angels” at Christmastime where they enlist the help of kids to shop for other kids through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. “My dream in Atlanta is that one day I can establish a children’s charity here, but people have to know you and trust you before you can get the financial support needed,” says Slam, “and that takes a little time.”

No problem… Slam hopes to be on The Bull for a long, long time!
